Who we are

Life After Football is operated by Noahsure Group LTD, 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5AA, United Kingdom. Noahsure Group LTD is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Questions, requests or complaints: admin@noahsure.co.uk or via our contact form.

What we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
  • Assessment answers — age range, football background, current status, education, location, financial pressure, caring responsibilities, interests, confidence, wellbeing preference and available hours.
  • Plan and progress data — your generated plan, recommended pathways, actions and which you have completed.
  • Companion chat history — the messages you send to and receive from the AI companion.
  • Mentor requests — the mentor you asked for, your message and preferred times.
  • Payment records — membership status, subscription dates and payment reference IDs. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor; we never see or store them.
  • Contact submissions — your name, email and any message you send us.
  • Technical data — limited request data used to keep the service secure and prevent automated abuse.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To provide the service (accounts, plans, companion, mentor requests) — performance of a contract with you.
  • To build your personalised plan from your assessment answers — your consent, given when you create your account.
  • To take payment and manage membership — performance of a contract and our legal obligations.
  • To keep the platform secure and prevent fake or automated accounts — our legitimate interests.
  • To reply to you when you contact us — our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we never share your assessment answers, plan or chat history with clubs, agents, employers or insurers. We use a small number of processors to run the service: our cloud database and authentication provider, our AI model provider (for companion replies), and our payment processor. Each processes data on our instructions under a data processing agreement.

We may disclose data where we are legally required to, or where there is a serious risk to someone's life.

How long we keep it

Account, plan and chat data is kept while your account is open. If you request deletion we remove your account data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (payment records: six years). Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and receive a portable copy. You can request deletion at any time from your profile page in the app, or by emailing us. We respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Sensitive information you share with us

Some of what you tell us is personal in a way that deserves extra care: your wellbeing preference and how you describe how you are coping, financial pressure, caring responsibilities, and anything you type into the AI companion. We treat all of it as confidential. It is used only to build and adjust your plan and to reply to you in the companion, on the basis of the consent you give when you create your account and start the assessment. It is never used to train third-party AI models, never used for advertising or profiling, and never shared with clubs, agents, employers or insurers. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your assessment answers and chat history from your profile page, or by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

Cookies and similar storage

Necessary (always on). A sign-in session token so you stay logged in, a short-lived security token, your cookie choice itself, and payment processor cookies during checkout. These cannot be switched off because the site does not work without them.

Analytics (optional). If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and completed actions so we can see which parts of the service help. We do not send your name, email, assessment answers or chat content to it.

Advertising (optional). If you accept, we use Google Ads measurement to see which adverts led to a membership, including any click identifier in the link you arrived on.

Nothing in the optional categories loads until you accept it. Both are off by default and no box is pre-ticked. Your choice is stored for 180 days and you can change or withdraw it at any time using Privacy choices in the footer of every page.

Security and international transfers

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Some processors operate outside the UK; where they do, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.

Important limitation

Life After Football provides education, information and guidance. It is not therapy, and not financial or legal advice. If you are in crisis, call 999, or Samaritans free on 116 123, 24 hours a day.
